Northern  Costa Blanca begins at Gandia and Oliva. This area is abundant with orange groves and beautiful mountains as a backdrop.  Sandy beaches are fabulous and not crowded, whilst  Inland from here is very pretty.  When selling property in Costa Blanca, do not underestimate the beauty of this area when describing to prospective buyers.

looking south down the coast you arrive at Denia with its Marina and Port from where you can get a ferry over to Ibiza and also Majorca. As you move South, the coast changes from being flat to very rugged with beautiful coves and rocky beaches. South of Denia is Javea just north of  Moraira, a smaller town. Inland you will find  the Jalon Valley, famous for its vineyards, with the working towns of Pedreguer and Benitachell nearby.

Moving further down the coast are the rolling hillsides of Benissa with rocky beaches and then Calpe, one of the most famous tourist spots with its very prominent peak. Originally a little fishing village, Calpe these days is a popular town for holiday makers.  Calpe has the famous rock which rises from the sea. On either side are two fantastic wide sandy beaches.

Further south there is Altea with hills and whitewashed houses, pretty cobbled streets and designer shops. Then is Alfaz del Pi  and then Benidorm, the largest tourist resort on . Benidorm is huge with a coastline of high rise skyscrapers. There are 3 beaches all are excellent and the nightlife is full on for everybody. There are no shortage of hotels, cafes, entertainment, shopping for the shopahollicks, and a number of good theme parks.  Leaving Benidorm the coast becomes level with mile after mile of popular sandy beaches, as the mountains in the background begin to fade further and further away. Inland from here you come to the castle at Guadalest,  a famous tourist attraction.
