I, the person named below, confirm that I have carried out any inspections and surveys I deem necessary. In the event that I have not conducted any such inspections, I am making this bid fully aware of my obligations to proceed at the price I bid, should my bid be the winning bid.
Upon my bid being successful, I confirm that I will pay an initial deposit to the value of £1,000 for UK Property, or 1,500 €uros for non UK property.
When the bid is for a property registered as “Standard Sale Completion”, this initial deposit must be paid to the bidder’s solicitor immediately, and the seller’s solicitor should be advised of such payment. This sale will operate on the same basis as a standard property sales process, and will have a duration in line with that of a standard property sales process, around 6-8 weeks.
When the bid is for a property registered as “Rapid Sale Completion”, this initial deposit must be paid by credit card, in response to a deposit payment request which will arrive with you the successful bidder by email within 24 hours of the auction close, or the bid acceptance if accepted by the owner prior to auction close. This must be paid within 24 hours.
The full deposit equal to 10% of the bid price, less the initial deposits amount must be paid to the Bidder’s solicitor within 3 days, and you will be expected to complete the sale within 30 days of the initial deposit payment which is non refundable as with any traditional auction. Your bid once accepted becomes a legally binding contract.
